Our scoring criteria
Measured at the speed you'd actually run it, not the marketing "quiet mode". Anything above 35 dB loses points because that's when people turn it down.
Annual cost to run continuously at UK electricity prices. A purifier only works while on, so cost-to-run is a filtration issue in disguise.
Filter cost and availability, warranty, UK/EU shipping and returns — the things that decide whether you keep using it a year later.
